Title: Installing a switch
Post by: Nordsee on November 29, 2014, 03:56:23 pm
I have bought a Brushless Motor and matching ESC, there is no on/off Switch in the System for the Rx. You just plug in the LiPo and the System is live. I do not like that. I have a Switch cable that I could put between the Rx and ESC, any reason why not? I could then connect everything up and them check that all Tx controls are where they should be and switch on as usual Any reason why not?

If there is no switch on the ESC , then why not check
the Tx settings THEN connect the Lipo ?

That is very true, but I don't like the idea of the System being "Live" the whole time, one small slip and everything goes crazy, I am a great believer in "Murphy's Law!
