I am building a rather large model boat, about 19 foot long ( Do not ask for photos please, as I have tried many times to post on this Forum and find it impossible ) my question is, as the boat is in 7 sections and the motor/esc/rudder servo/ Rx are in the rear section, if I wanted to fit a Bow thruster, could I bind a second Rx with it in the Bow to the same Tx and run two Rx from the 1 Tx to save running a cable 19 feet.
I think you see what I mean.
Thanks.
Len.

As long as the Rx in the bow is compatible with your transmitter and you run the bow thruster on a spare channel not used by the aft Rx, all will be well.

I don't think that would be a problem. It's not as if either receiver is "aware" of the other one.

Many thanks chaps.

I thought the whole point of 2.4GHz was that the Tx & Rx form a data channel and so bind together to exclude everything else.
I can see this working with old gear but I don't think it would work with 2.4GHZ - but I'm happy to be corrected.

You will need basic transmitters Len.
Planet or suchlike.
Computer Radios that have model memories will only
work with the receiver for one model at a time.

I have just been upstairs and binded 5 rx*s to 1 tx all on the same model memory and all are working fine.i have used a turnigy 9x tx for this hope this helps? :-))

Thanks for the heads up.
Using a Spektrum DX6i I have designated
each rx to its model but I shall try a couple on
each mode memory :-))

I have had a dx7 with all my tanks bound to it, believe me when I say I've found out hard way that's multiple rx will work at once....a tank I'd forgotten to turn off ploughing off the table cause me much consternation.....

You try the Link Martin, it shows how to put photos on Mayhem.
