If Am right you can now get a superglue, deglue never used it but have seen it might be just for skin,

Mate,
Debonder is the thing you need I spilt some on our lounge and it took it out completely, your model shop should have it or be able to order it..............

Debonder will often/should attack upvc as the plastic melts at around the same value as cyano, caustic soda paste is better ( as long as you keep it off your skin ), it takes longer but will work

Thanks for the warning, will try on a spare first.

Has the pvc still got its shiny surface? have you spilled the glue on the shiny surface? If so your luck could be in. Take a steel rule or other metal imlement that has a nice clean but blunt edge- like the end of a steel rule. It has to be blunt not a blade edge. Place the blunt edge against your blob of glue as though you were using a chisel. Then tap the other end of the rule with a heavier object.
The glue won't bond to the surface, its too shiny for it to 'grip' so will tap loose. If the surface has been roughened then a debonder will be needed. however these are all based around solvents so will also eat into your substrate as well.

What urgency is required? ie Removal before wife come home and spots it on settee :D
-
No urgency, am going down the caustic soda avenue.
Once again thanks for all your help.

Acetate, the same stuff that takes off nail varnish but might melt other stuff as well use with caution.
