Title: Anyone working on a 1/35 Bronco R.C Seehund

 Hello

 I recently bought a 1/35 Bronco Seehund that I plan to make it a R.C Static diving submarine. Has anyone here done or is working on one?

 Could you post some pictures so I could get some ideas to use on mine?

There's a seller on eBay called rc sub workshop, I think they do a conversion kit

Not getting confused with the Type XXIII are you?
 
The Seehund is a tiddy little boat at 1/35th scale. You'll have to make all the hardware yourself. Radio, batteries and motor should all be easy to source these days with minature equipment beign commonplace and cheap.
 
A chap in the States has converted one, saw some piccies in the SCR a couple of issues back.

 Nice to hear from you again. No not getting confused, I have a Bronco 1/35 type XXIII as well now the Bronco 1/35 Seehund. The Seehind is the smaller one that I want to try to make into a R.C static diver. I love the harder picks first.

 I`ve seen a fair amount of the Type XXIII conversion already. I like to work from harder choices to easier ones, in that order.

 Your up late or really early, not sure of the time difference.

 Anyway, I love to get through the harder ones first before I go to the hard ones. Seehund size 1/35 means I need a SMALL dia. WTC with thin walls, found a source in the U.S, now it`s a matter of sizing the dry section, wet section and foam inside the hull and weight on the bottom of the hull. This one is harder because of the small size.

 The Type XXIII is hard because of it`s size but I figure when I get the Seehund right, the Type XXIII should go together easier.

If you look at a type xxiii, it is essentially a bigger Seehund. The latter has a lower aspect fairing for the conning tower, but the hull shape is vey similar.
With a very small model like this, I think it's best to use the hull itself as the WTC, especially as it's already the right shape. This makes best use of the buoyancy available and helps with weight distribution.
