It's a shame his head is too big for him to be turned upside down and kept in a little bucket beside the toilet.........  %)

New lady in my life, Barry...she's got me on healthy eating, skimmed milk...and a haircut. One has to try one's best to impress...  <:(

Go for it, Uggett. Long hair at our age is unbecoming. Shorter is easier to wash, dry and brush and it doesn't whap around your face in a wind or get in your eyes while you're trying to do a delicate modelling job. Mind you, if you pay more than half a crown for a haircut you'll have been robbed.

Best bit about having a  haircut is that I get to see my hairdresser, Jackie...she is absobloodylutely gorgeous, wears those deep v tops which show off everything...when she stands in front of me to trim my fringe it all goes dark.  %)  No wonder my fringe is very short...I keep asking for a bit more off the top, please... ;D

I shall report back after Tuesday, suitably shorn...

Skimmed milk makes me assume a low fat diet. These low fat diets are not necessarily healthy... Kick sugar and carbs instead. I dropped 8 kilos without trying too hard going to LCHF.....

We've already discussed the boating side of things RJ...my boats come before everything else, end of story. She has her hobbies, I have mine...mind you, she wasn't impressed when she stood on a brass bolt barefoot in the bedroom. I was well pleased, I dropped that bolt a day or so beforehand, and I couldn't find it...her first visit to the bedroom and she found it in seconds. Clever gal...

Very true,Ray...I've never been one for healthy eating, all those years of trucking meant many fried breakfasts and fish n' chip dinners, but she says she worries about me (all together now...aaah)

Tony, you'll understand the shock of changing from fry ups to bran flakes and granola (it's horrible stuff, tastes like soggy lumpy cardboard to me) And as for that skimmed milk...and tea without sugar?

RJ...a match made in heaven? I'll...err...let you know about that in a few months time. Mind you, she did say she's looking forward to Mayhem at Wicksteed and the Norwich sub weekend and Alford...stand by for further reports on that later.

As for the haircut...well, I guess at sixty five years old, shoulder length hair is maybe a bit much. I draw the line at removing my earring though

Third and a half times lucky? Not likely...I couldn't live with her on  a permanent basis, and she couldn't live with me. Couple of nights a week, the odd weekend here and there...more than adequate.

Maybe I'll keep my hair...hmm.

I said 'yes dear' twice...more than enough for any model boat builder.

Actually I have to say it works very well.  I only see my wife every 4-6 weeks as I'm working in the UK and she is in Finland.
We probably spend more "quality" time together than we did when I lived there

It's also probably a lot safer...and much easier to smuggle in that new kit.

I gave up sugar 10 years ago, not from choice, on a site 5 miles from a shop. After 2 weeks I still wasn't keen but I hated it with sugar. I'm 70 this year last had a haircut  in 2009, after years of short hair. Long hair on a fogey may not be seemly but it's my choice, I also have a beard and am a grumpy old git.
PS my avatar is me with short hair.

Feeling like Putty before the Romance is more of a problem as for haircuts all you need is self discipline I have mine cut regularly every April whether I need one or not
