;) Does anyone know anything about the Vindskip sailing merchant ship,I believe the whole hull is used as a sail and is the main form of propulsion with a small engine for calm weather,I think the idea comes from Norway but don't know if any have been built or are under construction,it just sounds an interesting project but would it work scaled down idea's anyone?.    Ray. ok2

only one way to find out if it will work as a model - and scope for including an arduino or a Pi to work out wind and hull speed/directiob/potential courses, if you really want to get experimenting! But you'd probably want to go to about four feet long. We need more details of NACA wing form, and underwater shape.
