Hmm. Given how reliable my little clamps of that type are I think I'll stick with stirring it by hand  ;D

I can't see the video right now, youtube blocked in China, so my comments may not be relevant.
 
Remember when shaking a tin of paint, you put bubbles in it. This is a real problem with varnish, less so or maybe not at all with paint.

I was so wanting the bottle to fly out :embarrassed: There is a better option though..........

Go to local pound shop and buy a coffee frother, these go into cups flick the switch and it froths the coffee. I have two they cost about 1.50 each, remove the wire spring from the end so leaving a circle of steel wire. Then place into paint pot and switch on for a few seconds- job done! Just don't put it into or remove from the paint with it already turned on ;D

I use an ultrasonic cleaner for doing jewellery and other small parts, with a little water in the device I stand the paint pots in it and give them 90 secs, works okay for me.

I have one of those..... never thought to use it like that!
