Hi chaps, Thanks for the welcome,
The engine will be driving a Challenger, 4ft hull and it is pleasure not racing, sorry I forgot my name, its Bernie I am 61 this year so, an old git  O0 %%

Just watched the videos,,,very good indead :-))
how is the electric start holding out?i used one many moons ago .one of the first ones by arrowshark.the problem i had was the electric motor burnt out after a while {:-{
ended up selling it on  :}

Hi Kurt, well the electric motor is going to be treated with an electrical water proofing agent, I have a choice of 2 at the moment.
My starter has been upgraded a tad so more reliable I hope.
It always can be replaced with a brush less equivalent I suppose if it kacks out, we will see.

Just tested the Starter in the boat and looks good , no idea how long it will last but as they say-- nothing ventured --- nothing busted  %%

I still need to sort the Exhaust pipe, as I am very insistent that it exits the Transom and not sticking out the back like a phallic, unnatural, 45 deg appendage  :o

great vids mate of a great water,you cant beat having plenty of water to get the gas boats going :-))
we have a large lake we use at telford,,,plus a smaller one at birkenhead,,which is ok but as our boats are getting quicker the small lake is getting smaller %%
i have watched all your vids now and have really enjoyed them...
have a look on the bmprs section on here at some of things we are up to %)

Well now for the good news,
 My Boat will be on the wet stuff this weekend, Sunday 24th May for its maiden sinking, Brand new motor so not blasting around, save that for later.
