Does anybody know if this radio can be converted to 2.4ghz and if so what will work thanks for any help

Worth mentioning that the laws governing radio conversions in the USA are somewhat stricter than here in the UK.

I believe that conversions of this nature are considered illegal unless you have a ham radio license.

I can see that being difficult to enforce, however I thought it worth mentioning.

If the radio is module based, and the module has its own self contained aerial, I believe you can do the conversion sans license.
