Title: What tug is this
Post by: Kadtoy on April 21, 2015, 12:55:18 pm
Hi everyone.

Can some one please help me in identifying this model?
As you can see the rear cover is missing and I would love to make the right one for it.
In the process of renovating the hull and deck, it was a bit bashed when I got it, so strengthening the hull and then will lay a cover of fibre glass. Still thinking of the best way to join the deck to the hull, any suggestions? May just glass it to the hull. leaving access to the hold for the radio etc.
Anyway All help is appreciated, as are pictures of the correct deck cover.
Cheers for now.

IMHO It looks very much like the old Billing's Banckert.

Yep looks to be a Banckert
usefully the instructions (for what they are worth) are available do download from BB website

However the instructions do give a good indication of the rear hatch cover :)

hi.

Banckert is  an ABS hull and deck, with a wooden superstructure don`t think ABS and resin are compatible.  Epoxy resin possibly you could get away with not polyester

Stabilit Express or Devcon Plastic Welder would fix hull to deck
