Oh now I like that very much indeed, any more detail shots?

That is awesome. What boat are you going to fit it in?

Hi Alex & Charlie,
I will put some photo's on later. The winch is going onto a 1/16th Canadian logging tug.

Hi, what an excellent project. How much pulling power does the winch have?
Are there any drawings available?
Regards.
Peter.

hi PD,
if you watch the you tube clip attached in my first post you will see it pulls a 12v 7amp SLA battery and a loaded tool box across the floor, I have also pulled a dining chair across the floor.
haven't tried anything else yet.
The model is from harbour models non working winch which I modified.

Very nice!!!! Is there an online shop in Europe that sells these winches?
-
Hi missyd
The shop that sells them is located in the U.S, it's called Harbour Models http://www.harbormodels.com/
They do 2 versions one un-motorised and 1 motorised, I purchased the un-motorised version and modified it as well as adding more detail making it a very powerful winch.
