I know it's summer now in this part of the world, but I stumbled over this video when searching for pictures of "tugboat Bull" that used to be stationed in Stockholm during the 70's or so. She's now in the northern part of Sweden and someone made a fun time laps video of her clearing a berth from ice in flowing waters sort of. You'll get it when you see it.
All the best!

Wonderful, just like Colin on our lake in the winter with his tug Doris :-))

Cool video.
Speaking of fun tugboat videos, do they use these boats in other parts ot the world, or is this just a North American thing?

Great video! That must be a fun job running those little tugs! Looks crazy, do they have seatbelts??
I know similar practice where used in Sweden earlier, but don't know how it's done now. The boats used here where more conventional ones, sometimes radio controlled. Someone told me even the timber now travels in containers?? Anyway, the hauling of timber by tugboats along our coast is long gone.
All the best!

We still move logs on our coast with tugs.
This is one method of moving logs, used where you might hit water too rough for booms to stay together.

The wee critters are called dozer boats and a good operator can make one dance in the water.
