Good evening to you all ,this is just my second post regarding r c submarines , basically I haven't much idea as yet ,but I want to learn. I recently purchased from a colleague ,parts of a model which I was told was a Trafalgar class submarine but which I now know is a Los Angeles class . I don't know whose make of model this is and if I should continue with the build, I think I have a bit of a mishmash of parts. I have taken a few pictures and am hoping someone can put me on the right track , I have spent a long time on internet trying to get info but am struggling . Maybe I should stick to surface boats.

I'm thinking that's an MMB Los Angeles class boat (Mark's Model Bits) big old beast of a boat. The module looks like one of A1 Down Under models (?? can't remember his christian name ) Horobin. Water pump based unit, filling a central baffled ballast tank.
Have a hunt through the sub build logs, my old friend Marius has a build log running of one of these boats.

Good luck...you'll need it when you start drilling the top of the sail for the 'scopes, etc. I gave up in the end with mine and scratch built a new sail out of styrene...
They do make into a nice boat though..

Going to be a while before I get to that stage , got HMS Snowberry to finish , not started HMS Nelson yet maybe fit the sub in the middle, still be at it when I retire {-)
