I reached retirement at the end of June. I now find I have some spare time on my hands. My wife suggested a yacht!! So I started to look for one, but in the end the costs were too great. So she showed me a picture of a model yacht. I am now the proud owner of a Focus 1mtr racing yacht. I live in Mansfield in Notts and have a local club which I hope will accept an old git like me!! I came to this site as I need help with the rigging on my yacht. I get so far and all seems ok. I have 2 lengths of rigging string left, am I missing something? I have tested the RC side and all is OK.
Any advice or help would be very welcome.
Many thanks, Tony

Hi Drozinc,
Welcome to the Mayhem!
.... being an 'old git' is almost compulsory round here!
Your yacht, is it this one?

Hi Martin, yes that's the one. Mine is in red!!

To be honest the rigging is rubbish, I have mine here but unsailed as until this year our pond wasn't deep enough for it.
I have turnbuckles & fishing trace to re-rig mine when I have 5 minutes.
