Title: Bit of a long shot, but...
Post by: U-33 on August 18, 2015, 11:35:52 am
Anyone of you guys know if a Joysway Force 2 60 Catamaran will fit into a Citroen C3 without dismantling all the rigging? I can fold the rear seats down easily, that's not a problem, and I can get the cat up and down the stairs and through the doors without struggling.

Told you it was a long shot... ;D

Should fit fully rigged Rich.
Fit a small floatation ball to the top of the mast
to stop it turning turtle on a capsize.
The mast and sails can snag on any underwater
obstructions.
The ball makes her lie on her side with enough
windage for her to drift ashore.
They do go like the clappers in a steady wind
The acceleration is amazing.

Thanks Ned, it'll make life easier if it does go in the car fully rigged.

I have seen those foam balls fitted, and I have plenty of blue foam in my cupboard, so I can soon knock one up.

Makes a very handsome looking craft look a very ugly looking craft, IMHO. But, if it saves your boat, then fair enough...I shall make one for mine.

Why not carve some blue foam into a streamlined "pear" shape ?.
Would be bigger and more pleasing to the eye !!.
You could tell folk it was Secret !.

You took the mouth right out of my words there, John...found this image a while back (whilst having a smoke and calming down after discovering I'd made a cock of the mast rigging  >>:-( )
