Title: Sanson Tug
Post by: CaptTex on August 21, 2015, 04:27:22 pm
Howdy folks! With the Linda Carol done, I'm looking for my next project. I was wanting to do a Tractor tug but can't find a good kit, or the Sanson tug which is a 36" model of a deep sea tug from 1915. Ideas guys?

If you are looking for Voith Schneider Tractor tugs you may be able to find a
semi-kit, or at least the hull for the Crowley Nanuq, or  Lindsey Foss.
I think Gary King in Vancouver BC may still be making hulls.

Yes Martin that one! I think its a pretty tug, reminiscent of the Imara! Umi I may try that, Idk about z-drive or schottel expensive and my skill isnt that high! Opinions on the hulls Umi, or the Sanson Martin? Seriously contemplating this because this tug will be exponentially nicer than the Carol...hopefully  :-)
