Hi all,

I'm almost at the final stages of this build

I have never done a paint process like this before, weathered, dull, and dirty, but after all this work I need to protect it, the weathering will certainly come off. Virtually all paint was with small airbrush, using revel aqua acrylic thinned with their own mix. All the weathering was with similar stuff. If I wet my finger, some of the weathering powder will rub off, so that's no good! :embarrassed:

I was going to use a rattle can, matt lacquer bought and filled from a motor factor, but don't want to go and mess it up at this late stage. Can you please advise, but please only if you have done it yourself and you know the results work.

I use Humbrol acrylic lacquer on our boats, but the best way is to paint a spare bit of plastic with your revel paint, then try with Humbrol or Halfords acrylic lacquer and watch the result.   Pete
