Title: Plan for H.M.S Lightning torpedo boat
Post by: brian nunn on August 28, 2015, 10:25:01 pm
Hi fellow boaties.
This request comes to you from New Zealand.
I am a late starter to the world of boating but at 73 years  young
I have four scratch builds made the latest is a 1/48th scale of
The Knight of St Patrick Steam deep sea towing tug.
I would like to build a model of H.M.S Lightning torpedo boat.
but info is very hard to come by I have found a 1/24th scale model picture
on the net but any other searching has been in vain.
Is there anybody out there who can help or put me in touch
with more info
thank you
Pathfinder.

My thoughts are to contact www.chyldshallmodelshipyard.com (http://www.chyldshallmodelshipyard.com) and ask Steve if he has any ideas or if he is looking at TB1 as a future model subject.

Other than that you are looking at the National maritime Museum for copies of original plans, which while costly, do get you straight to the core of your reference needs.

Good luck, I will be keeping an eye on how you do.
