Looks like they have gone back to WW1 and using tethered balloons for spotting. How the mighty RN has fallen.

Post by: DavieTait on September 01, 2015, 02:54:12 pm: I suspect the "gun" mount would turn about 45' off center so still have to basically point the ship at the target but probably firing rocket assisted guided rounds , the "blimp" is probably a radar equipped quad rotor electrically powered through the cable to get the radar up to 2000ft or so ( would make low level attacks inside 250nm pretty redundant although the US is currently testing the Harpoon replacement which goes 500nm.. )
