If you go on their website it shows how much can be accomplished with the help from a friendly local council.
Club rooms, landing stages, landscaping etc.

I visited Surrey Park today for their Navy Day.
All very friendly and a great venue especially now the local Council have built a very posh Loo to match the club house.
