Hi All,

I popped down to the pond for a sail today , we had 3x Louis Heloise sailing together (and all made by the same person )

Well, we've never had this before. ok2 Those tablets have a lot to answer for.

Hi tug--- Kenny

I should have said earlier that they are all plank on frame models made around 10 year's ago, all local to the pond but never sailed at the same time before today.

There's something really nice about seeing a 'flotilla' of the same class yachts. Can I pop in with a shot of 3 Moonbeams which turned up at Swiss Cottage MBC at Shoreham last year. Mine is red! :-))
(Not a lot of puff that day!)
-
Hi Nemo
No problem , I only see the same class when a race is taking part,
What are the moonbeams like to sail? Great pic by the way :-)

Spud, the Moonbeam, as any owner will tell you is a dream to sail. They move in the lightest of winds and I found mine sailed herself most of the time and even my 13 yr old grand-daughter could sail it. They do not like strong winds though. I liked the class so much I had two! Here they are again after the wind got up - with me in the lead! :-))

good to see ,louise h ,on the water ,I hope I can get mine done for next year .. ok2
-
Nemo, very nice looking yachts :-))
Not only that but a red a White and a blue, very British :} , I like it
-
It was a complete co-incidence the red, white and blue and they sailed well together, tacking and jibing in unison was a delight to watch.
i sold the red one and bought an Atlantis which is even better. I like big yachts! O0
Good luck with your Atlantis build - I will be watching. :-))
