Title: Graupner TITO NERI Fittings.
Post by: norry on July 28, 2007, 10:13:06 am
     ...Hi Guys...
Does anyone know if Graupner sell the fittings for the "TITO NERI" tug seperately...

I am looking for the Forward & Aft Towing Winches to use as dummy winches on my model     Shoalbuster tug...They are made of plastic & help to keep the wieght down...

Hi Norry

Westbournes show Graupner fittings including winches on their web site.

Hi Norry

Try Robbe as well. Their 1401 is a typical winch bow winch. Availability of these seems never when you want one however!

Hi Norry

Seems an expensive way to get two dummy winches

fittings kit is around £70.00 +  if memory serves me correct

   ...Hi Guys...

I meant that i only want to buy the 2 winches...

I recently bought a part used fittings kit on E-Bay that had the 2 winches in it...I built the winches & fitted them on my Shoalbuster tug & they look brilliant...The main reason i like them is that they are plastic & weigh next to nothing so they dont increase the deck-level weight on the boat...

I will just have to try & copy them in wood...

I will post a picture of the winches on my tug for your opinions...

Norry read my previous posting.
Westbournes sell individual fittings.
