Don't just look at the photo's and say I want to build that. Make sure you check it's dimensions with your chosen scale. I have collected dozens of photo's of my next major build, along with diagrams etc, not bothering with physical dimensions as its built on a common hull.
Except its not! It may be a generic hull with some changes to suit the owner, but it is wildly different from my yard plans (lengthened/widened) I was going to build to a scale of 1/72nd to match my present anchor handler which is 40 inches long. Except only now checking the full size dimensions I find it has been stretched and widened so that at 1/72nd it would be nearly 7feet in length :o :o
I think I'm going to have to have a rethink, to make it manageable I would not be able to include the detail it requires - it would become to miniscule at 1/144. I've included a photo to show what I mean.

Consider 1/100, or 1/96 scale.
It will come out 5'-0 1/2" or 5'-3"
:-))

Already had Umi, they would still be too big. 40 inches is about as big as I can go without my wife complaining.
