Title: Gluing ABS
Post by: colin-stevens on October 26, 2015, 05:51:42 pm
used to be able to get Stablit to fix together the ABS models"Layfette" for example. cant seem to get it any more. Any Ideas any one? Need to fix Aluminium stern tube to the hull which is ABS, and NASTY gap around the shaft. Was a devil to get right.

Hoping the collective can help.

Colin.

Cheers Martin,  Seems to have done the trick. Although doest seem to like sanding. Ended up carving away the excess with a knife.
Just hope that my shafts are in the right place, now that i have decided to change the motors for brushless.
