A new project, why not. I bought a book at a car boot sale that came complete with plans, so decided to give it a go.

A Racing Sparrow methinks.
Fine little yacht.
I scaled mine down to an RG 65 spec.
Some have been built at one metre,
and one or two at 1500 mm.

I've just had a look at the website - very nice boats, excellent illustrations and well-drawn plans. Who knows? I may even try a rag-and-stick boat meself! Do keep us posted, Kadtoy.

So far it has been an awesome easy build, very basic.
I am really enjoying the planking as it is something I have never done before.
Lets hope I can get it complete to sail at the local pond next year.
Will keep you all posted on the build.

Progress slow but sure
