Early stages of my budget Hochseeflotte for 2016.
SMS Nassau and a couple of B98 type torpedo boats. Builders foam, cheap ply and odds and ends of balsa etc.
%)
-
If I can my finger out I will refurbish SMS Schliessen.
-
Excellent news! These will be fabulous to see on the weekend sailing and making torpedo attacks etc.
Are you building them to 1:96thish?
-
All I know is its 3ft long so I doubt it. It's my brother's so im knicking it.
-
Easier to get in a car for sure if smaller scale:O)
-
Naturally old leibling :-))

Hi all
This Wickstead event sounds interesting. I could add to the Hochseeflotte with V105.
What are the proposed dates for Wickstead 2016? Next year is pretty busy for us but I could see about fitting it in. Would it be worth the massive drive down from Scotland?

Last weekend bsnk holiday in may 28 29 .

I'll make a stab a SMS Seydlitz. So you will only get to half sink it {:-{ .
Thanks for the dates klunk. I will try to attend.

If you mean beneath the destroyers then it will be the Nassau.
-
Errrrrr is there a home fleet????
-
You don't think my liddle Nassau will be sunken twice >>:-(
There seems to be the potential for a decent sort of Home Fleet from what has appeared at Wickie in the past or am I totally confused as usual.
Progress is getting the deckhouses and funnels sorted on the destroyers before those of the Nassau, then I can concentrate on moulding the fittings in the house if it gets cold, leaving spraying etc. till the spring. I'll put some pics up when enough movement. I want to experiment using staples for the railings since I need a lot and these are budget build.
Cheers Tony

Ohh there will be opposition to the opposition!!!
I've taken on a project that was originally completed in one year- I'll attempt to do it in less than 4 months! Wish me luck :-))
