Hi all we went to a Great Gatsby themed new years party last night with our best friends

nothing much. A glass or two of fine beer and watched Pie in the Sky to see the New year in on my own.

Got home from work at 21.30 and watched a bit of telly then the fireworks started being let off up and down the road upsetting our 3 cats so we stayed up with them until the racket stopped around 01.30 then went to bed.

Went out for dinner about 7pm got home about 6am

Took grandson home at 7.30 - worn out as usual. (Us, not him!  :} )


Came home, nothing worth watching live so settled down to a movie, then decided to accept a music forum challenge to record Auld Lang Syne on the organ before midnight. Arrangement written, performed, recorded, mixed and uploaded in under 20 minutes - with 7 minutes to spare. Next time I'll do it before having a few wee drams. %%


Watched the bongs and some of the London fireworks, but two doors down had a pretty spectacular aerial display of their own so I watched that instead!


A few more wee drams and then (carefully!) climbed the strangely spinning stairs.....

Which one is you Ken? Obviosuly one of the dapper gents! you look like you were all having lots of fun.

I stayed in and watched a couple of movies (Mad Max Fury Road is always worth another watch) with a bottle of beer and then saw the new year in before going to bed.

Well I spent a rather pleasant evening getting myself outside a wonderful 30 year old Glenfarclas single malt...... Heaven!!

I did wonder because you are hiding your hands on account of the build up of paint from all your modelmaking!!!!
