The above camera has been working ok, not often used. It now comes to life and normal info shows on the Screen But no view of what I want to photo is there, it just takes Black photos. Any Ideas please.
Thanks.

Yes.
It doesn't have one.
Thank all the same.

I had one (910 I think). Did exactly the same. Blank screen and no pics.
As the zoom wasn't very high and it was quite low resolution, I binned it (didn't bother trying to get it repaired after I read that it was a common fault - 18 months old).
Now have a Panasonic bridge cam (FZ150) which is behaving itself!

In Review mode, a blue or black screen is displayed instead of a picture.
•Transfer the picture to the computer (see Transferring pictures with the USB cable).
•Take another picture. If problem continues, try internal memory and/or another memory card.

Hi Len, It sounds like the same problem I had with a Nikon camera a few years ago, it turned out to be the CCD imaging sensor, I found an internet link to Nikon site where it said they had fitted a batch of faulty CCD's and gave a list of serial numbers, my camera was one of that batch although it worked fine initially for a couple of years, Nikon were great they told me to send it to them and they replaced the CCD free of charge and refunded the postage, it may be worth contacting Kodak to see if they can help. :-))

OK, Thanks for that R/JOE.

I had exactly the same experience as Joe.
Nikon went to the top of the class in my estimation
for their after sales service.

When I had a similar problem, final resort was to go to Kodak website. The reply came back that they no longer dealt in photography!! That's like Boots saying they don't do 'Pharmacy' or Waterstones saying they don't do books.
