The Keta and Kromantse were completed in 1964/65 and went to Ghana.
435/500 tons displacement
177 ft long x 28ft bean. draught 9/13 ft.
Two shafts, 16 cylinder Maybach diesels, BHP 5720 for a speed of 20knots.
Armament: one 4-inch, one 40mm, one Squid mortar.
Pennant No F18 Keta, F17 Kromantse.
Torbruk went to Libya and was powered by Paxman diesels.
All fitted with stabalisers.
My understanding is that they were poorly maintained and treated whilst in Ghanaian service.

Dear forum users, sorry for the mistakes. I want to ask. Do you have an article from the magazine Shipwright Model No. 5 (Volume II No. 1) (Conway 1973 1st). I saw that there is a description of the corvette Kromantsa. Nowhere can I find it freely available. Sincerely, Alexander.

Looks like that could be the model made by Jack Bidgood of the Hanwell club which I remember him building. It was much admired at the time.
