The acre is a unit (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Units_of_measurement) of land area used in the imperial (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imperial_units) and US customary (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_customary_units#Units_of_area) systems. It is defined as the area of 1 chain (22 yards) by 1 furlong (220 yards), which is exactly equal to 1640 of a square mile (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Square_mile), 43,560 square feet, approximately 4,046.856 m2, or about 40% of a hectare (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hectare).HTH

Right, so 17.6 square kilometers, is about the equivalent of four acres on land...?
Or have I totally messed up my decimal point? 17600sq m?

Oh, found a conversion app, yeah bad decimal placement...
4200.79 acres... %%
