Title: Touching up spray paint help?!
Post by: boathound on January 26, 2016, 06:33:53 pm
Hi,

I masked off the solid bulwarks of my model which are white. I spray painted the deck a rust/red colour. I removed the masking tape and found some overspray. How do I deal with this, can I touch up with a brush without ruining the finish of the spray surface, if so how?! {:-{

Before you do anything drastic like touching up...go and get some G3 cutting compound from Halfords and some cotton buds and simply polish it away............alternatively use some thinners on thee cotton bud and remove it that way.....if it ends in tears then please don't blame me......you have got to be patient doing this....
