Hi

I'm looking for a plan over a trawler similar to Shemarah 2, Our Lass 2 or Maggie M, since that kind of trawler have been on my "wishlist" for many years and now I have the time to build it.
Thought I have bought the plan of Shemarah 2 of another modelbuilder here i England (not on this forum), ( I live in Denmark) and transfer money for it, but when the letter with the plan came, it was only a old newspaper inside and since no contact to the man who sold the "plan" to me, sad that some people not can be trusted an want to trick other for a few pounds.

Hope somebody else have the line/bodyplan for one of these trawlers and willing to help me start my next project.

Hi Brian,
If the conman was on another forum
I hope you have reported it to the administrators.
If an internet selling site report it as they advise.
It doesn't make sense to rip someone off and then
go to the trouble of mailing you a worthless package.

If you paid by payPal and used the GOODS option should be covered , If you used the friends money transfer then I am not sure.  If you paid by a Bank Transfer you still have a few options . You will have his email address and bank details . email the local police force and get them to investigate . What he has done is fraud .
If I was i n your shoe I would name and shame him , your call .

Update : Got my money back today after a final mail and after many without respons, and where I told the "plan" supplier that I would tell every one who he is, on every modellforum I could find on the internet and he have a week to respond.
 
I have also been lucky to find the bodyplan for one of the trawlers, so this weekend I start on my new project, so I'm a happy Dane  :-)

Hi Brian


You can get a drawing of Shemarah ll from My hobby store. The drawing number is MAGM 2040. It's a 1: 24 scale.


There is an excellent build blog on this model in Model Boats Magazine forum, under "scratch built" by Gareth Jones.


I got my plans for this boat from them just over a year ago and the build is coming along very well.

Great result for you Brian, but he needs reporting as he is
Defrauding anyone who sends him money.
He has refunded you because you threatened him
with exposure.
He needs exposing everywhere.
