Title: handrails scratch build
Post by: 785boats on August 02, 2007, 08:48:32 pm
Can anyone help with ideas on making 1:144 scale handrails for the Bismark.
Malcomfrary has been kind enough to offer one method elsewhere on this forum (thanks again) but it's a bit hard at this scale.
That's 7mm high stanchions 12mm apart (approx) with three rails. About 5.5 meters of it is required.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards,
Paul.

Photo etch is probably the way to go. There are 1:144 fittings made for the Titanic which might do the job, here for example:
