Title: NOR STAR WAVE RIDER PLANS?
Post by: GARY 156 on February 24, 2016, 12:41:37 pm
Hi,

Does anybody know where I can locate a copy of the plans for a Nor Star Wave Rider?

I have purchased an old hull from Ebay and wish to restore and run on a brushless set up
to give it a nice run of speed, classic fast electric  :-))

Cheers, Gary.

I do indeed have a set of the Nor Star Wave Rider plans.  Since I am unlikely to build or buy one, despite happy memories of early days in boating,  you are welcome to them.  Let me have an address and I'll post them off to you

WOW !!!!

Thank you, I have emailed my address to you.

Blow me, I see there is another Wave Rider on Ebay now and the seller is right on my door step.

looks like its fitted with an old OS 10 engine so may be a bit mucky inside?
I want to have a fast brushless set up but not sure what size motor and lipo voltage to use,
I nearly purchased a lesro sprite kit but I think the hull is a bit too flat for a fast speed.

Cheers, Gary.
