This week I have undertaken a build of this yacht I had built a goth iom but can't afford the winch rigs etc. But the smaller size of this is much handier for transport and storage.
I looked at a few designs and plumbed for the Noob. So this week has been spent planking the keel is obeche the shear strikes are walnut and the rest 2mm balsa to be skinned in 100gsm glass cloth.

Do all the shadows come out when the hull is clothed over.
What is the projected hull weight?
Reminds me of my Racing Sparrow RG 65.

Yes all the shadows should come out %) apart from the bow the first and the transom not sure about weight it'll be whatever it is, I'm not sure of any fleets in the southwest so I will be sailing alone anyway.
Today I am starting the wet and drying of the glass to to get the hull nice and smooth.

A good day spent sanding and priming there are still some pin holes but I might leave some my lightweight filler doesn't seem to want to get in them.

The hull is off the board now and so far comes in at 127g. I've started the fin and now looking at what to use for mast spars etc. I have looked and it seems 6mm carbon mast and 3 mm booms seem the norm but any advice on fittings etc. welcome.

The Dragonforce 65 spars can be bought from RC Yachts for a reasonable sum
which saves the hassle of making gooseneck and compressor fittings. The jib
counterbalance and masthead crane are included.
The DF spars are 8mm and 5mm. I would use 8mm for an unstayed mast.

I had thought about going the unstayed route but wasn't sure if it had the tunability of a stayed rig but I'll look into it I guess the dragon force is unstayed then.

The DF65 does use an unstayed rig which could restrict tunability, however, some Marbleheads also use unstayed rigs so the matter is open to debate. The main thing to be aware of is the DF65 'A' rig is considerably shorter than the maximum allowed for an RG65 (1100mm) so would compromise the sail pattern. That said the goose neck & booms are very good for the money & I have used them on several RG's to good effect.

I am tempted to make up my own the tube isn't to pricey and I'm sure a gooseneck and vang can't be to difficult to make I shall ponder it for a few days.
