Title: brushless help-again, with thanks
Post by: bill stafford on March 29, 2016, 08:00:19 pm
dear forum members,
i was looking for a small brushless, for a warship type hull, currently twin shafts ,maybe go to single shaft ??approx. 760mm+90mm
what is available to turn a 40/45mm prop ??
am I correct in saying approx. turn a prop 25% larger in diam. than the motor ??
which would be a 30/35mm brushless will turn a 40/45mm prop ?
thinking also of using li-po battery to drive model , which will be 12 months away.
thanks for your help and opinions

seems this is too hard , or not enough info for a answer.
I will try  a skm 3 35/45 mm brushless, the 1000kv version is a lower wattage than the 840 kv version, in theory
thanks bill stafford

Hi Bill
A few motors to look at are the Hobbyking 3639-750kv, 3648-600, 4250-580 and 4248-400kv.

Bill you are looking for help powering a warship type hull with brushless power. This is the tug section.

You would be better off asking it in the warship section or even the technical brushless section.
