It is now possible to scan you, in your chosen clothes and pose and reproduce you in any scale you wish.
The resultant figure is in full colour and the figure looks exactly like you.
I have two such models, one of Mark Reeves (new speedline man) and one of me.
I can email you the one of me but the file is an mp4 format and I don't think this site can handle it. (Can you help Martin?).
Its not cheap. The figure is about £120 and the scanning also costs. How much depends on how many people can be done in an hour. About 20 can be done so a group of 20 people would cost around £10 each.
Interesting and amazing too.

A photo or two of the models would be good. :-))

Cloning Mayhem members? Is the world ready for that?

Yes I think we would like to see a photograph of the subject and one of the model. I remember an episode of "The Big Bang Theory" where the lads purchased a 3D printed model of themselves and were a bit disappointed with the result. Not suggesting the real (non TV) one would not be a perfect likeness (legal bit) :embarrassed: %) Is this a good title for the post ?

Can it scan me and make me young again? O0

Ok yes I mean fat ... 2 for 1 :embarrassed:

Raj's doll made him look like dwane dwibbly (red dwarf for those not suitably informed)

I think it would be fun to have a figure of myself sailing my boats dressed in the same clothes as I sail my boats....... If your going to have a get together I hope I can be in England at the same time and if so count me in 8) :embarrassed:

Speedline , any updates, who does these scans and models ? Are we going to see a mini you with a pic of you so that we can judge ? Lots of interest here I think.
-
Actually, it would be worth getting several done, in different scales and poses. Sitting, standing, kneeling, etc. for different model configurations.
If a group of you go, sorry a bit far for me, you could also swap files with each other and create whole crews. It might also be worth taking along life jackets, and if anyone is RNLI, other safety gear/dry suits/etc.

bit like these two unsavoury characters I dont know who they are but I downloaded them and printed them myself after a bit of down scaling now they have pride of place in my Nautilus

Those 3dmoi figures are almost photo-realistic. Incredible.

MP4 - Is it a video file? If so, YouTube?!

Some asda stores do it £95.00 up to a 7" figure.

This place will make any figure to look like who you want! I was quoted £65 for a 1/12 scale figure which is about 15cm, price also includes clothes!
