Hi Lads, I have the newest of the puffers, the one with the panel side wheel house. has anyone built it? on looking at the old ones all the wheel house sides are straight, however on the new panel version, the two sides are angled forwards, I cannot work out how to fit it as it does not seem to marry up with the front and back or with the roof, maybe I am going mad , but any help welcome, glen

Hi Glen,
The name of the kit would probably help here, but it could be the Northlight, as that appears to be the only one they currently list.

Hi Glen
There are a number of Northlight builds on the forum which should help you.

Hi Mike
thanks for the links, I already have both of them, and this is where I have the problem , the new kit has a panel type wheel house, and the sides have a angle to the bottom, which does not seem to fit with the front or sides, both of the kits in the link have straight edges. I have emailed jotika, for some help
thanks glen

Hi Glen
It might be worth posting a picture of the problem.
In my experience, you will find Jotika very helpful.

Hi Mike
here it is, as you can see the sides have an angle at the bottom, all the ones I have seen are straight. also two different sizes , glen

Hi Glen
I see your problem. :-) The kit I am building was purchased in 2000 - it's taking me forever to complete! %%
The instruction manual came with a separate sheet:
(http://i949.photobucket.com/albums/ad338/photomultiplier/DSC08609_zps4fppcdku.jpg) (http://s949.photobucket.com/user/photomultiplier/media/DSC08609_zps4fppcdku.jpg.html)
It seems to indicate that the deckhouse has a sloping roof - which would match the pieces in your picture.
Now for the bad news - I couldn't make head or tail of it either - so I ignored it and made the deckhouse and wheelhouse from scratch.
(I needed to have a rectangular wheelhouse anyway because I wanted to instal a working steering chain.)
Hopefully someone else on the forum will give you some more practical advice!
Mike
