Title: Singer Car Company Boats
Post by: Goldcupper on May 12, 2016, 05:21:04 pm
Hi all, I am looking for decent sized drawings of either of the 2 boats produced by Percy See's yard at Fareham for the Singer Car Company.
They were the Cadet with a Singer 9 "Le Mans" engine and the Commodore, with the 6 cylinder 1 1/2Litre engine.  Both had Percy See's distinctive shallow diagonal reverse clinker.  Round bilge, they would have their American counterparts in what they knew as the Racing Skiff, although the Singer product was a little more solidly built.
There is a small drawing in a Singer club mag in pdf form, but that is not realy usable and can't be printed.

Many thanks.
