After a successful Open Day I would like to thank the following for attending. Clubs: Leeds & Bradford, Kinglear, Sheffield, Balne Moor, Etherow, Bridlington, CADMA, York, BMES, Rawdon, Grimsby & Cleethorpes, Liverpool, Goole, Castaways Hull, Vicar Water Models, Bury Metro Marine, Potteries, Alverston Pirates, Gloucester & District, TSMEE, Buxton and Hull. Traders: Mobile Marine Models, Tony Green Steam Models, Mike Alsop Model Flags, Mountfleet Models, Warner Marine and Leeds Large Scale Models and of course not forgetting the RNLI. We were lucky to have good weather throughout the day. We had 29 boats take part in the sail past which was an impressive sight. I have been asked already for the date for next year and this will be Sunday 9th July. Official invites will be sent out in January 2017. Demand for spaces is increasing so I will need to know early next year if you wish to attend. Final group of pictures to follow. A big thank you to Martin and the Moderators for allowing us to use this site to promote our events.

For all that commitment and effort its a shame it couldn't be a three day event, as you have such good facilities and the commitment by clubs etc looked first rate.
I appreciate though, that which ever day you added, it would be difficult for those who work and have families etc to get the time off
-
Thanks for all you comments final group pictures.

Wish I could have visited but to para phrase Father Jack from Father Ted: I'm still stuck on this ******* island!
Hopefully I can visit next year with a boat or two.
