Title: Tenshock mini Eco ( how fast can I get it to go)
Post by: jayfrs on June 13, 2016, 06:43:18 am
Hello guy,

I am looking for a little bit of advice i have a Tenshock mini eco boat its running tenshock stock set up 40amp esc and a Brushless 4 Pole Motor VZ1515 running it on 3s it goes well but i want to take this thing as fast as i can get it with out it flipping over. i am not entering it in races just my other mate has one and we have a laugh on a local lake.

so is there any thing i can do? change the motor and esc? run it on a 4s batt oe even swap it all over and drop a a 6s in there?

Yes there is.
I have a tension y hydro modded with a 4300 kv motor on 4s lipo. It's mental!
I can only run on flat calm water or else it will flip. If there is a bit of ripple I run on 3s and it's fine.
Also,  I need to avoid sudden acceleration to full speed otherwise the thing just flips over sideways from torque reaction.
Be aware though that it may eat shaft bearings for fun, but, they are cheap and easily replaced.
Good fun though!
