Jauginette was a 50cm simple yacht/skiff, wide transom, huge sail area, designed by frenchman Pierre Jahan from way back 80's-90's.
Drawings of formers and side elevation are available to down load from french websites,
along with building sequence photographs of the models structure sitting on a complete plan with all details and sails sizes etc,
it is this drawing I am hoping to locate.
I'm guessing it might have been a free plan in one of the french model magazines (MRB etc?)
Can anyone in 'Mayhem Land' help with any info please, I have found ref to 2 models built and sailing in the Southend area,
this is a a long shot but here's hoping, regards Zippy

Hi Zippy
The original drawing was coming from the Eol a model store in Paris but Janot who wrote this article on Internet Navimodélisme and built the boat said that Eol never answered to his e-mail about Jauginette
I checked the Eol internet site and this plan is no more available http://www.eolmodelisme.com/
Then there are PDF drawing with the Janot article http://navi.modelisme.com/article355.html (scroll down)
May you can contact Albertus the webmaster of Navimodélisme - it's a nice man always ready to help - and then asking Janot e-mail.

In fact Zippy - clicking on the name of Janot you can contact the author http://navi.modelisme.com/article355.html
Then you have to fill this page http://navi.modelisme.com/auteur238.html
This report on Navimodélisme was published 10 years ago, I just hope Janot is still reachable

Hi Xtian,
Thanks again for the replies, they are very interesting - I recognised EOL on the plan from somewhere??
and thankfully you came up with the answer, now it all makes sense -
the plans were sold through a large Parisian model store, and not as I had asumed in a magazine.
I'll try emailing Janot and will post any results here on Mayhem, very good of you to take the time responding.
Regards Zippy
