Title: tally band for a H M C S ,found in car boot.

any one on here knows how to re unite some gear ,tally band and papers from a guy who served on a destroyer in the 2 ww .the H M C S  Athabaskan  .I was at a car boot and this box had the black cap ,talltband and his badges for his 2 uniforms ,I think he was a L/S and Torpedo man ,his papers suggest leave ,hospital and some other I cant make out .would be nice if he had a relative .

Athabaskan apparently was an unlucky ship and did not survive the war. Sunk off the French coast. Many of crew killed or captured shown here -

thanks for your help nemo ,the guy did survive ,but died in 1965 ,I have sent a letter to the people who deal with this ,any relatives can let me know and I will try and send them .she was an unlucky ship ,what a time .heroes all .
