Title: Planet T5 throttle mod

  Hi all,
     Has anyone tried removing the metal strip that locates the ratchet on the left hand stick of a Planet T5 TX and if so does the gimbal/stick self centre at neutral when released the same as the right hand stick? What I am asking is if you remove the piece of metal that locates onto the ratchet mechanism will the stick spring back into the centre i.e. is the gimbal the same as the right hand one and sprung.
     I ask this because I can't find the throttle spring kit anywhere even J.Perkins, thanks for looking guys.

short answer..... NO.

You need the spring kit IF you can find anybody to part with one {-) {-) {-)
