Post by: captain bligh on September 24, 2016, 05:35:35 pm
Hi All
Put this up on another topic! Anyone think there is a opening for a large scale modern Dutch beam trawler kit ,as they have lovely lines to them. :-)) :-))

Someone mentioned it to me a while back, but cannot remember who, but said that Mountfleet Models were thinking along those lines in 1;32 scale.

Might be advantageous of you  to phone them to ask, and if not at least you will have sown the seeds in their mind.

Oh right Jim didn't know that  :-)) was thinking probably bit bigger like 1:16 scale, could probably pack a load of electronics in the hull then winches etc but mind you the winches are under the wheelhouse generally. But I may phone them Jim and ask.

search for Frank Willemkens on Facebook. He had build a very big beamtrawler and now he is building an even bigger beamtrawler. Fully functioning and lots of stainless steel.
