Many will remember Dickie Deal, past member of the St. Albans model engineering society. He was our Secretary for 8 years and served on the committee for many more.
He loved his model boats and made some very nice models in his time, some will remember his N.S. Savannah and his Turbinia.
He used to enjoy the modellers week at Pontins and was always happy to help and advise.
DIckie, never used the name Richard, had his 90th. birthday in July this year, he had not been well these last 18 months and was in care and had lost touch with us all.
I will post funeral dates, anyone wishing to go please PM me.
