Title: Brushless with Action electrics
Post by: gerard on October 13, 2016, 02:03:27 PM
Hi, The question is to find out if it is at all possible to use an Action P100 noisy thing with brushless motors. If not what does.
Thanks Gerard

A P100 and its Instruction Manual. As far as P100 is concerned there is no difference between a brushed motor ESC and a brushless one, but do remember that brushless ones all have BEC so don't duplicate the power to the receiver.
Here's the easy part  http://www.action-electronics.co.uk/pdfs/P100%20Operating%20Manual%20Part%201%20Ver03.pdf (http://www.action-electronics.co.uk/pdfs/P100%20Operating%20Manual%20Part%201%20Ver03.pdf)

Not all brushless ESC's have BEC's. Many of the models made for multicopters have no BEC's fitted, as power tends to be supplied by the flight controller board.

I stand corrected. Looks like it's Hara-kiri time for me...    :embarrassed:
(I just hope you haven't written to 'The Times' as well. I couldn't bear the disgrace.)

If it is then Google hasn't heard of it, or were you just being sarky?
