I saw the completed model at the International Model Boat Show over the weekend. A very impressive model indeed with great majesty. I understand this is now a semi kit from Deans Marine.
A lovely unusual subject to see.
Any pictures and congratulations to the builder.
Cheers
Geoff :-)

Yes, an interesting design with protection sacrificed for firepower. The South American navies liked to overawe their opponents with the mostest and most powerful guns.
Agincourt certainly achieved this effect at Jutland when firing broadsides instead of salvos.

Hi Geoff
Some pictures from Warwick for you all, and some close ups.

Beeeeeeeeeautiful:O) She lost her flying bridge later though in common with Neptune and the Collussi. They do make her look a bit more formidable.

I just found some shots of her under construction - nearly finished Geoff

Having seen her up close at the Dean's Open days just now, and having taken loads of detail photographs, I am now committed to building one of these over 2017. A crazy project, far too big for my car, or my workbench, I simply must make one. Planning is already underway here. %%

Fantastic model of a cracking vessel. I would be too scared to put her in the water if she was mine, a true museum standard model.
