Title: straight line riding with care
Post by: BFSMP on December 28, 2016, 05:38:17 pm

how could anyone ever consider riding this monstrosity other than in a straight line on a billiard table flat road.

I cannot believe how grotesque this bike is.

They work well in the US - no curves.

Most of these things are inteneded as works of art so the fact they actualy move is impressive - horrible in every way. Closer to a tractor than a motorbike.

All the rage on the US custom scene at the moment, called baggers, because of the 'saddle bags' {-)

Nothing wrong with the radial one kipper, I've even seen one with it transverse (across) the frame. That is clever engineering, not just fancy dress like the first one.

Haven't they stopped building that now Syd? I thought it had been superseded by a smaller turbine unit so making the overall package much more user friendly.

I still like the youtube vids of it though, as the turbine spools up to 30 THOUSAND rpm :o before it ignites.

You could well be right Brian, seems to a fair amount of information on their site but a shortage of dates or buy one now forms, not that I have a big enough pension to buy one.
