Title: Aerokits Solent class 1/12th

Hi,
 
I have recently picked up two of these models in various states of repair or should I say disrepair!
 
Has anyone put brushless motors in one and what type as I normally use Turnigy types in the 1/16th and these models are much heavier, and are there any fittings kits out there to help restoration?

I would imagine you'd have to gear the motors down.
